Descripción This study evaluates interior solar exposure, natural lighting, and ventilation potential in the apartments of the P.H. Elite 500 and P.H. Ocean Front buildings by applying a simplified conceptual model for analyzing the building envelope. To this end, a three-dimensional model was developed using Autodesk Revit software, from which solar projection in the various interior spaces was simulated. The results indicate that the P.H. Ocean Front building presents more favorable ventilation and lighting conditions due to its spatial configuration; however, both buildings experience significant direct solar radiation during various periods of the day and lack effective shading devices.

Descripción Este estudio evalúa el asoleamiento interior, la iluminación natural y el potencial de ventilación de los apartamentos de los edificios P.H. Elite 500 y P.H. Ocean Front mediante la aplicación de un modelo conceptual simplificado para el análisis de la envolvente arquitectónica. Para ello, se desarrolló un modelado tridimensional en el software Autodesk Revit, a partir del cual se simuló la proyección solar en los distintos espacios interiores. Los resultados indican que el P.H. Ocean Front presenta condiciones más favorables de ventilación e iluminación debido a su configuración espacial; sin embargo, ambos edificios registran una incidencia significativa de radiación solar directa durante diversos periodos del día y carecen de dispositivos efectivos de sombreamiento.
