Descripción With the financial support of the Laboratory of Geophysics and Hydrogeology LGH 221, which belongs to the Vice-Rector's Office for Research and Postgraduate Studies (VIP), together with the Laboratory of Atmospheric Physics 220, also belonging to the VIP, and the Institute of Geoscience IG, all under the administration of the University of Panama, a set of measurements of the Earth's Magnetic Field and some disturbances of the microclimate were carried out, during the Annular Solar Eclipse, on the 14th. October 2023. The place where data collection was carried out was at the Harmodio A. Madrid school, located in the Chame district, province of West Panama.
Measurements of the Earth's Magnetic Field began at 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., in intervals of 5 to 10 minutes. The measurements of the meteorological parameters of Temperature and Relative Humidity began at 12:36 p.m., for logistical reasons. It occurred every 5 minutes, resulting in 45 minutes of data.
The variations of some meteorological parameters obtained throughout this day at the Atmospheric Physics Station, installed in the Azuero Regional Center, Chitré District, Herrera Province, were also analyzed. This, with the aim of making a contrast in the meteorological parameters in these two regions.
Descripción Con el apoyo financiero del Laboratorio de Geofísica e Hidrogeología LGH 221, que pertenece a la Vicerrectoría de Investigación y Postgrado (VIP), conjuntamente con el Laboratorio de Física de la Atmósfera 220, también perteneciente a la VIP y el Instituto de Geociencia IG, todos bajo la administración de la Universidad de Panamá, se realizó un conjunto de medidas del Campo Magnético de la Tierra y algunas perturbaciones del microclima, durante el Eclipse Anular de Sol, del día 14 de octubre del 2023. El lugar donde se realizó la toma de datos fue en la escuela Harmodio A. Madrid, ubicada en el distrito de Chame, provincia de Panamá Oeste.
Las mediciones del Campo Magnético de la Tierra comenzaron a las 11:30 a.m. hasta las 4:00p.m., en intervalos de 5 a 10 minutos. Las mediciones de los parámetros meteorológicos de Temperatura y Humedad Relativa, comenzaron a las 12:36p.m., por cuestiones de logística. La misma se daba cada 5 minutos, dando como resultado, 45 minutos de data.
También se analizaron las variaciones de algunos parámetros meteorológicos obtenidos durante todo este día en la Estación de Física de la Atmósfera, instalada en el Centro Regional de Azuero, Distrito de Chitré, Provincia de Herrera. Esto, con el objetivo de hacer un contraste en los parámetros meteorológicos en estas dos regiones.
