Descripción The present study aimed to analyze the incidence of teacher motivation in the teaching-learning process of first and second-year students in Diversified Middle Education at the Veraguas Regional University Center in 2023. The research was quantitative, with a non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional design, conducted on a population of 72 first and second-year students in diversified middle education and 8 teachers. The instrument used was a questionnaire with 20 questions to measure teacher motivation in the field of education, using a Likert scale. Statistical treatment and data analysis utilized the Chi-square statistics and the SPSS version 22.0 statistical program. It was found that there is a significant incidence of teacher motivation in the teaching-learning process (?² = 438, df = 1, p = .001), leading to the conclusion, based on the results, that teacher motivation can play a crucial role in the effectiveness of the educational process.
Descripción El presente trabajo  presento como objetivo general analizar la incidencia de la motivación docente en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes de I y II año de Docencia Media Diversificada del Centro Regional Universitario de Veraguas, 2023. La investigación fue de tipo cuantitativa, cualitativa con un diseño de investigación no experimental, descriptiva, de tipo transeccional realizada en una población de 72 alumnos de I y II año de docencia media diversificada y 8 docentes. El instrumento utilizado fue cuestionario con 20 preguntas para medir la motivación del docente en el área de educación y se usó una escala de tipo Likert. El tratamiento estadístico y análisis de datos se utilizó el estadístico Chi x2 y el programa estadístico SPSS versión 22.0. Se encontró que existe incidencia significativa en la motivación docente en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, (?² = ,438 df = 1, p = .001), por lo que se llega a la conclusión, según los resultados, que la motivación del docente puede desempeñar un papel crucial en la efectividad del proceso educativo.
