Descripción This monographic article seeks to outline the benefits and potential of artificial intelligence in the field of psychology, along the lines that this is a medium that could expand and enhance its objectives and applications at a time so demanding of its multivariate contributions. Obviously, this examination does not ignore the dangers and ethical implications of artificial intelligence as a computer tool, especially because the debt of Artificial Intelligence to the cognitive processes that are part of this tool is evident.
Descripción Este artículo monográfico busca pergeñar los beneficios y potencialidades de la inteligencia artificial en el campo de la psicología, en la línea de que esta es un medio que podría ampliar y potenciar sus objetivos y aplicaciones en una época tan requerida de sus multivariadas contribuciones. Obviamente, este examen no ignora los peligros e implicaciones éticas de la inteligencia artificial como herramienta informática, sobre todo porque es ostensible la deuda de la Inteligencia Artificial con los procesos cognitivos que hacen parte de esta herramienta.
