Descripción Los estudiantes universitarios enfrentan cambios y presiones que afectan sus hábitos alimentarios, lo que puede repercutir en su salud física y mental a corto y largo plazo. Aplicar intervenciones educativas en nutrición, puede ser una forma de fomentar conductas alimentarias saludables en este grupo etario. Se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de la literatura para establecer las condiciones y los tipos de cambios que promueven este tipo de intervenciones. Para la revisión se empleó la metodología PRISMA. Se seleccionaron estudios publicados entre 2015 y 2024 que incluyeran intervenciones educativas sobre alimentación saludable dirigidas a estudiantes universitarios sin condiciones médicas preexistentes. La búsqueda se realizó en PubMed, Web of Science y ScienceDirect, utilizando la estrategia PICO. Se analizaron 18 artículos que cumplieron con los criterios de selección aplicados. Las intervenciones más eficaces fueron aquellas de cuatro semanas o más de duración, con estrategias mixtas (presenciales y electrónicas), y aplicadas en grupos pequeños. Se observaron mejoras en el conocimiento nutricional, en la autoeficacia para cocinar y consumir alimentos saludables, así como una mayor ingesta de frutas, verduras y legumbres, y una reducción del consumo de azúcares y alimentos ultraprocesados. Las intervenciones educativas bien estructuradas pueden generar cambios positivos y sostenibles en los hábitos alimentarios de los estudiantes universitarios. Se recomienda integrar componentes prácticos, digitales e interpersonales adaptados al contexto institucional para maximizar su efectividad.
