Descripción This paper refers to the subject of contact’s points and its projection into Panama’s private international law, both domestic and treaties’ legislation. The contact’s point’s concept, its divisions regarding the legal relations regulated and its classification on the theoretical level will be studied. Examples of the adoption of contact points’ concept in domestic legal system and in some international treaties ratified by the Republic of Panama will be shown
Descripción El presente artículo versa sobre el tema de los puntos de conexión o elementos de extranjería y su proyección en el Derecho internacional privado panameño estatal y convencional. Se examinará su concepto, su división en cuanto a las relaciones jurídicas que regulan y su clasificación a nivel doctrinal. Se mostrarán ejemplos de su adopción en el ordenamiento jurídico interno y en algunos tratados internacionales ratificados por la República de Panamá
