EL DECENIO DE LOS AFRODESCENDIENTES: UNA INICIATIVA EN LA DEFENSA DE SUS DERECHOS

Descripción Human development is conditioned by various factors. But if the power structures interfere with the access of these, the human groups will remain in a state of poverty which will be transmitted to successive generations. Afro-descendants are a human group that have long been in marginalization as a result of the economic models that used them as merchandise and labor. In these processes they have been treated as objects. His human dignity, culture, traditions, history and contributions were unknown. Even when the Afro-descendants have made resistance and their leaders have promoted the struggle to rescue their values, there is still to be done. The Decade of People of African Descent is an initiative of the United Nations Organization that opposes racism that has been one of the causes of the stagnation of this group. Urges all peoples to fight for recognition of their rights.
Descripción El desarrollo humano está condicionado por diversos factores. Pero si las estructuras de poder interfieren en el acceso de estos los grupos humanos se mantendrán en un estado de pobreza la cual se transmitirá a generaciones sucesivas. Los afrodescendientes son un grupo humano que se han encontrado por mucho tiempo en marginación producto de los modelos económicos que los utilizaban como mercancía y mano de obra. En estos procesos han sido tratados como objetos. Se desconocía su dignidad humana, su cultura, tradiciones, historia y aportes. Aun cuando los afrodescendiente han hecho resistencia y sus líderes han promovido la lucha por el rescate de sus valores falta por hacer. El Decenio de los Afrodescendientes es una iniciativa de la Organización de Naciones Unidas que se opone al racismo que ha sido una de las causas del estancamiento de este grupo. Insta a todos los pueblos a luchar por el reconocimiento de sus derechos.
