Descripción Various factors have caused the numbers of violence against women to increase; For example, during the confinement due to Covid-19, this index had a significant increase, which impacted the lives of many women and girls who became victims of violence in their own homes. Despite the efforts by public and private institutions to find a solution to reduce these figures, it is impossible to eradicate the problem, due to its complexity in the different types of violence: physical, sexual, patrimonial, labor, symbolic and femicide. Much remains to be done to prevent more women from being victims of violence and ensure that they live in a safe environment, since regulations to severely punish these acts, especially the crime of femicide are not enough. For this reason, it is essential to implement restorative justice practices that contribute to improving justice, seeking the truth, repairing the damage and guaranteeing that acts as reprehensible as those that occurred in confinement are not repeated; It is also important to provide care to those people who have also become direct or indirect victims not only of the perpetrator of the crime, but also of the justice system.
Descripción Diversos factores han causado que las cifras de violencia contra la mujer aumenten; por ejemplo, en el confinamiento por el Covid-19, este índice tuvo un incremento significativo, el cual impactó la vida de muchas mujeres y niñas que se convirtieron en víctimas de violencia en su propio hogar. A pesar de los esfuerzos por instituciones públicas y privadas para encontrar una solución que permita disminuir estas cifras, es imposible erradicar el problema, debido a la complejidad de los diferentes tipos de violencia: física, sexual, patrimonial, laboral, simbólica y feminicida. Queda mucho por hacer para evitar que más mujeres sean víctimas de violencia y lograr que vivan en un ambiente seguro, pues no es suficiente una normativa para castigar severamente esos actos sobre todo el delito de feminicidio. Por ello, es indispensable implementar prácticas de justicia restaurativa que contribuyan a mejorar la justicia, buscar la verdad, reparar el daño y garantizar que hechos tan reprochables como los sucedidos en el confinamiento no se repitan; además es importante brindar atención a aquellas personas que también se han convertido en víctimas directas o indirectas no solo del perpetrador del delito, sino del sistema de justicia.
