This article reconstructs Bernhard Welte's interpretation of the question about the world in Meister Eckhart. Firstly, it elucidates the notion of Abgeschiedenheit as access to the world as such. Secondly, the nullity and divinity of the world is analyzed; then, the Eckhartian unity of divinity, world and soul is made explicit as a unity of event. Finally, the meaning of Welte's interpretation of Eckhart is shown in order to elaborate a cosmological notion of the world, determining to what extent such a notion implies, as a condition of its possibility, the unity of event between God, man and the world, which constitutes the core of the Weltian interpretation. El artículo reconstruye la interpretación de Bernhard Welte de la cuestión del mundo en Meister Eckhart. Primero elucida la noción de “Abgeschiedenheit” como acceso al mundo en tanto tal. Luego analiza nulidad y divinidad del mundo. Posteriormente explicita la unidad eckhartiana de divinidad, mundo y alma como unidad de acontecimiento. Finalmente elucida la significatividad de la interpretación weltiana de Eckhart para la elaboración de una noción cosmológica de mundo y muestra en qué medida dicha noción implica como su condición de posibilidad la unidad de acontecimiento entre Dios, hombre y mundo, que constituye el núcleo de la interpretación weltiana.
