Descripción The Covid 19 pandemics expanded the interest towards outside-school education. This essay aims to generate reader’s attraction towards the efficient, fun, and cheap option of educating in the open air by using parks, forests, fields, farms, beeches, harbors, plazas, streets, and cities. Complex topics like the evolution by means of Natural Selection and the evolutionary phylogenies are smoothly explained by critically and participatory observing unharmful plants and animals (e.g. mollusks) freely available outdoors. History, Civility, Arts, and social behavior are learned in a constructive, transdisciplinary way in plazas or streets by observing buildings and other infrastructures. Open-air learning stimulates student’s hormones of pleasure facilitating them to enthusiastically read books and attending indoor classes related to the topics attended outdoors. Playful learning is not contradictory, but complementary to school’s rigor because every game follows rules and needs to be studied.
Descripción La pandemia del Covid 19 ha ampliado la apertura mental hacia metodologías educativas aplicables fuera del aula. El objetivo de este ensayo es atraer a la comunidad educativa hacia la opción de la educación al aire libre en parques, bosques, cultivos, granjas, playas, caletas, plazas, calles y ciudades por ser eficiente, divertida y barata. Temas tan complejos como la evolución por selección natural y las filogenias evolutivas se explican con eficacia y amenidad observando crítica y participativamente las plantas o animales inofensivos de fácil obtención (v.g. moluscos) disponibles fuera del aula. La Historia, el Civismo, las Artes y el comportamiento social se aprenden constructiva y transdisciplinariamente en los parques o calles observando las edificaciones u otras infraestructuras. Aprendiendo al aire libre se estimulan las hormonas del placer entre el alumnado lo cual facilita que trabajen con entusiasmo cuando se les asigne que lean libros y atiendan las clases de intramuros. Lo lúdico no contradice el rigor escolar sino que lo complementa porque todo juego, incluso el de aprender, tiene reglas que necesitan seguirse y estudiarse.
