Descripción Introduction: according to the World Health Organization pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis or Koch's bacillus.It constitutes a worldwide public health problem. Objective: to describe the incidence and risk factors of tuberculosis in the Clinical Surgical Hospital Miguel Enríquez. Method: an observational, descriptive cross-sectional, descriptive, observational study was conducted from January 2021 to December 2022.The study population consisted of 22 patients diagnosed with tuberculosis in the period from January 2021 to December 2022. Descripción Introducción: para la Organización Mundial de Salud la tuberculosis pulmonar es una enfermedad infecto contagiosa causada por el Mycobacterium tuberculosis o bacilo de Koch. Constituye un problema de salud pública a nivel mundial. Objetivo: describir la incidencia y factores de riesgos de la tuberculosis en el Hospital Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Miguel Enríquez. Método: se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo de corte transversal, en el período de enero 2021 a diciembre 2022.La población del estudio la constituyó los 22 pacientes con diagnóstico de tuberculosis en el periodo de estudio. Se revisaron las historias clínicas de los casos. Resultados: se notificaron tres casos de tuberculosis en el año 2021 y 19 en el año 2022 con una tasa de incidencia de 0,3 y 2.0 respectivamente por cada 1000 egresos del hospital. El municipio de residencia con mayor porciento de notificación durante el año 2021, fue 10 de octubre (67%) y en el año 2022 fue San Miguel del Padrón (37%). En ambos años la localización que prevaleció fue la Tuberculosis pulmonar. Los factores de riesgos con mayor número de casos fueron los fumadores durante todo el período de estudio. Conclusiones: se describió la incidencia y los factores de riesgos presentes en los casos reportados con tuberculosis del Hospital Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Miguel Enríquez. Al resultar un incremento marcado en el 2022 con respecto al año anterior conlleva al personal de salud pensar más sobre esta patología, aumentar la vigilancia paciente con sintomatología y en los factores de riesgos.
