Descripción The importance of using recent bibliographic references in scientific research is addressed. The “Law of Obsolescence of Scientific Literature” is mentioned, which indicates that scientific literature is losing currency more and more rapidly. Therefore, the requirement for bibliographic references that are not older than five years has become widespread among medical and health journals.
