Descripción The structural crisis that Panama is currently going through has long-standing origins that manifest themselves cyclically in time and space that usually deepen during conjunctural crises. Although the conjunctural crisis combines endogenous and exogenous factors, it is based on the structural problems of a systemic crisis that passes primarily through an exhausted economic model that has different manifestations in the productive and institutional structure, having its greatest expression in political and social conflicts.
The solution of these problems goes through an exercise of understanding their triggers and their transmission mechanisms, attending to the most immediate problems with solutions that maintain the functioning of the State and the markets, but with a deep review of the objectives and measures of permanent solution in the most important sectors such as education, health and basic services, to guarantee the economic, political and social stability of the country and to correctly direct state policy on economic and social development.
Descripción La crisis estructural por la que atraviesa Panamá en la actualidad tiene orígenes de vieja data y que se manifiestan de manera cíclica en tiempo y espacio que suelen profundizarse durante las crisis coyunturales. Si bien la crisis coyuntural combina factores endógenos y exógenos, tiene como base los problemas estructurales de una crisis sistémica que pasa primeramente por un modelo económico agotado que tiene distintas manifestaciones en la estructura productiva y en lo institucional, teniendo su mayor expresión en los conflictos políticos y sociales.
La solución de estos problemas pasa por un ejercicio de comprensión de sus detonantes y sus mecanismos de transmisión, atendiendo los problemas más inmediatos con soluciones que mantengan el funcionamiento del Estado y de los mercados, pero con un revisión profunda de los objetivos y medidas de solución permanente en los sectores más importantes como lo son la educación, salud y servicios básicos, para garantizar la estabilidad económica, política y social del país y direccionar de manera correcta la política de estado en materia de desarrollo económico y social.
